Compensation & Benefits Specialist

As a Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you will:

• He/She will report to the Head of Talent Management and ensure that compensation and benefits are released accurately, on-time and within mandatory guidelines.
• He/She must be kept abreast with the latest government guidelines and industry practices.
• He/She is expected to deliver excellent customer/employee service ensuring that employees are
  educated and assisted in C&B matters. He/She is expected to understand the needs of the
  employees as a basis for recommending benefits.
• The role supports the Talent Management by providing important compensation and manpower
  reports in an effort to better understand and analyze the needs of the business and the employees.
• The role is expected to deliver excellent service ensuring that employees are educated and assisted in matters of administration of loans, and government benefits.

Minimum and Preferred Education & Experience:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree,
  Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent
• At least two (2) years of working experience in compensation and benefits with a clear understanding of payroll and benefits mandated practices
• History of success in handling all related transactions with government agencies including premium remittances, loans, and sickness/maternity reimbursements
• Must have experience with automated payroll (7/10)
• Proficient in Excel (8/10)
• Excellent customer service (8/10)
• Patient with a desire to educate employees on mandatory payroll and benefits (8/10)
• Able to work independently and with a team (8/10)
• Good communication and organization skills (8/10)
• Able to handle confidential information (10/10)
• Can work Monday to Friday on a dayshift schedule
• Can work on site
• Must have a stable internet connection with speed of at least 25mbps (Fiber Connection)
